Yep, all updated and calibrated, ACC, Compass all of it. All Green LED's, steady LED on the MK3GPS.
I even disconnected the Navi and GPS boards and just used the FC, still no joy.
It has me stumped!!
Just a further follow up, I have checked the range for each channel, and they are all going from 0-254, which I have read is important for the throttle channel, as someone else wrote that if the gas is >0 with the stick fully down and to the right in an attempt to start motors, it won't start...
Guys and Girls, I am hoping someone can shed some light as I am at my wits end with this thing.
I have a Mk Octo (Y-arm version) that has FC2.1 and Navi 1.1. I got it RTF as a training ship before I start flying my SJ8 around. It was flying fine when I got it. I flew it into a tree, got it down...
They come with the V2 kit, at least mine did. I just bought 2SJ8 kits in the srping sale, and both with red and yellow gromets.
Thanks gents for your help on this issue, I have solved it (for now) as shown by Quinton. I am intrigued by your decision Kloner to buck the trend, and I will...

I think I get it now, one of the white plastic bit slides onto the fluted rail from the front, but to me I thought they both had to go on the inside if that makes sense and slide over the flutes toward...
Hey guys,
I'm building my first MR, the SJ8 v2. Got it in the recent Spring sale.
I started building it and from what I can see, after building the gear rail assembly (quick release) I have discovered that I may have an incorrect part.
Looking at the build manual, the QR levers are both...
I know you are right with CASA, I own a share in 2 aircraft, and with AD's etc they are pedantic, and painful. Given I have a PPL-H and MECIR(A), I may be able to skip logging the flight training time you mention. There is definitely no requirement for a CPL and/or IREX, particularly as UAV's...
That sounds like a good combo if you get 10 mins on a RED. Thanks for the info.
Lance, thanks for that info. I have an application pending with CASA for the AOC, and I am a PPL -A/H, so obtaining the UAV operators cert should be pretty easy. The big issue is public liability insurance, and...
