Think I've found a way to get the best combination of having manual mode as an emergency backup but not activating accidentally.
I've set the "SE" 3 way switch as my flight mode switch and set to go Fail safe > Atti > GPS but I've set a logical switch function that activates manual mode only if...
I think this is the best bet. Used to do this with the Wookong M and after doing a calibration (where you have to flick manual/atti/gps 10 times whilst on the ground then turn the UAV laterally and horizontally to calibrate the compass) we'd tune out manual mode so the 3 way switch would go...
I wonder if they're not starting back until monday then. I've always found their support to be ridiculously good. When I bought mine (well over a year ago) I noticed that the ISO option was labelled "TO DO" as in it will be on a later release, so I asked them roughly when I was really keen on...
From memory I have to have my lens set to auto focus to allow me to manual focus with the camremote (as its using the AF motor). Which lens are you using? Not all are supported.
These look good, they also do the leg parts individually (4 making a complete set) and I only need two so works better for me than buying a full set.
Thanks
We've broken one of ours, only supplier other than photo higher I can find is Kopterworx and they are on holiday at the moment.
Can't seem to find them anywhere else.
Never even thought about using pipe tstrike, and I work for a company that makes it so would be ideal! Boom to boom is about 770mm from memory and about 6.3kg.
Thanks all
We've been looking at loosing the landing skids and switching to landing in a ring raised a few feet off of the floor, are these a DIY only thing or is there anywhere you can actually buy them from?
Thanks
Been looking at the octo version of these, have you had any other conventional hex/octos before? Just wondering if there's a noticeable difference in the way it handles wind.
Thanks
We store our lipos in old ammo boxes from the army surplus store. Nice and secure and should contain a bit of fire should the worst happen.
Although be careful when closing the lid that you don't chop the cables if they're sticking out!
Sent a question probing about the legal side of things and he said he's unsure so I'd need to check that out myself.
So at least he's not saying that its all find just to go and do it.
Although the other side to that is I had to ask in the first place whereas it should be made clear in the...
