I really hope DJI didn't shoot themselves in the foot with these different motors. So, don't ya love those tigers. Can't wait for you to go out and fly em. They'll take your breath away.

I'm not a fan of 4mm bullets for any high powered lipo application. Too many failures, and believe me, racing 8th scale E-buggys, you get to see everyone else's failures every single weekend too. That being said, I've had great luck with the castle creations 6.5mm bullets, but they are probably too big and clunky for a lot of your applications.
I REALLY wish there was a high quality, relatively compact, 3 wire connector specifically designed for connecting brushless motors to esc's. Some kind of industry standard. Its really needed.

all 22's do and all 28's are 19x19... it's a model size thing, 22 is 400-450 size, 28mm is 480 size. but when you want to fly or carry weight,,,,, the extra 100+ watts a motor will do it easy.....

You seen me go, ever heard or seen a motor come off? Trust me, i'd be here tellin ya all about it.

I am really shocked at how much smoother the quad itself flys & hovers!

I tossed on the GoPro and you can tell the motors are way more efficient, in manual mode it still has "pop", just lacking the climb out speed in altitude/GPS mode. Then again when flying in Alt/GPS it's for camera work which is much better when slower.

When the 900Kv 2216's are in stock I'll be ordering those for a try to see which I prefer. I am used to crazy power coming from the Heli stuff... I do miss the climb out power when the gear is on for sure.

might have to sell the 2212's before I drop another $180 on more motors to try.
Wife will kill me!

try em out first, your gonna take a hit anyways. what i find in the smaller watt motors is it'll fly smoother. the one i flew down the tracks is 2810 and 220 watt.... they are soooo much easier to fly along than the 28mm, they tend to make me bounce down the trail more. especialy the gimble one

OOOooooooo. I'm impressed. Looks great, nice and neat and you're describing the motors just like I thought you would.
When you're ready to sell them, don't advertise, just pm me, seriously.

I've been working on my Flydumini with MT1306-10 3100kv. I just put some new iPeaka 10A ESC's on it and I can already tell the difference without any props. I'll finish it all up tomorrow by shortening all the wires.

I hope you can get out and fly a little tomorrow.

Went out and flew them with the GoPro on, I'm shocked with the smooth flight & the difference in stability is night and day

Fit and Finish are second to none, tomorrow I will absolutely get some video footage.

You'll be the first to know!
