DJI flips quad in ATTi

Has anyone experienced this when flying in ATTi mode with the NAZA it flips over to the left. But flies fine in manual mode. What seems to be happening is that the back left motor is either slowing down or stopping mid flight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

everytime or just every now and then? sounds like bullett connector, motor wire, something between the esc and motor not holding a connection

do you leave the ground in atti?

Yes I leave the ground in ATTi then it flips over to the one side. I"m waiting for my video to upload to YouTube to post it so you can see what I'm talking about

From DJI USA I have no clue what to do it just messes up in ATTi mode I can fly it fine in manual mode. Good thing I started out with a home made tricopter using a KK blackboard.

send a message to him

Atti drops the power output alot, it looks like the left rear motor shuts off.

try this, take the props off, fire it up in your hand and see what it does in atti. if normal. if you feel safe, fire it up in atti with props and rev it till light and see what it does, don't just fly it, your gonna spend money

I have a rear left side dropping out intermittently as well.
It happens once every 20 flights so I'm down to the following...

Bullet connectors suck
or
Bad firmware (just updated to 2.02 for a try)

I went back in and re-calibrated everything. I then ran it up and it seemed fine with out the props then I was checking the ESC's and it turned out that on my left rear ESC one of the bullet connectors was hot. Being an Electrician that told me that it had a high resistance connection which should not be happening. So I unplugged it to check for evidence of arcing and did not see any so I plugged it back in and made sure that it was seated correctly and also rotated it in place to see if that would help with the connection. Well after running it back up in my hand with the props on to increase the load on the motor and tilting it in all directions to make the controller do its job it worked without shutting down the rear left. After that I checked the ESC again and no heat in the connection that was hot in the prior run. Test flew it and it seems fine now but only time will tell.

that is exactly your problem. you might even consider re-soldering the bullet onto the wire just in case it's the solder joint.... you can also pry out the little prongs that make tension inside the connector, sometimes they get weak and don't hold a connection

if it continues, look at resoldering the bullet to the esc or get a new esc. keep it over grass or sand the first few hovers and recheck that connector for heat after each flight
