Spam from this forum?

I'm getting really tired of all these CHINESE crap hobby stores sending me their new quadcopters. I have a feeling they are getting my email from here. Anyone else getting stuff from Famoushobby and some others?

It's hard to say, not that I noticed, anyway, but I really don't check my spam folder when I delete. When I get crap from outfits like this I just hit the report spam button. I never open them or I get a ton of porn spams.

It doesnt get cought in my spam folder. I'm just curious if they get my email from here or not. I think I have seen her try advertising on here before.

I haven't noticed any spam that could be related to the forum but then again I have a web based proxy email account that I use for anything and everything that I think might result in unwanted email. Occasionally I open the account and after a quick scan to make sure there's nothing I need to look at I dump the entire contents to the deleted items folder and then empty it.

I will say we've had an increasing number of blog spammers hitting the site recently, I've been deleting their crap and banning the accounts as I see them popup, seems like there's a lot of these guys out there with nothing better to do.

I know who you mean, but I dont think so. More than likely a spider that searches websites for links etc & harvests them for email spamming. Whats the first part of the email address that it's being sent to? if it's hostmaster or such like then its 99% chance of spider.
