Hi,
I have Got a DJI clone it has a crius AIOP V1.1 with a RC TIMER 30A ESC and using a Multiwii 2.2.
It had MegapirateNG 2.7 loaded when I got it. Being new to this type Of RC Hobby
I updated the firm wall In Mission Planner And mucked thing's up, noting would work any more after that
so I uploaded MegapirateNG 3.2r. I could not find Config h so I up loaded It any way but had no
Transmitter connection in Mission Planner after so I gave up. I loaded multiwii 2.2
and now cant ARM the motors I have Transmitter Control in the GUI. I have tried every thing but with no luck I got a lot Of flashing LED all the time
Can some one please help me

Did you set up your Tx to have the correct stick response when you opened the multiwii GUI? If you can't arm your motors, your throttle adjustment may be off. You should be at:

sticks center position : 1500
sticks low position: 1095
sticks high position: 1905

these show up in the upper right of the GUI.

Help with sorting out this quad

Hi thanks for the reply
yes I have set the throttle up in the gui
and have even lower the throttle trim
Down but still won't arm
when I try to arm the quad the led flash
Then go out but when I operate the throttle
they start flashing again

Unfortunately I'm not really familiar with the LED sequences and what they refer too. I don't have a great view of them with the GPS mounted over my board. I wish I could see them better. Can you see the arm function go green in the GUI when you're plugged directly to the computer? Have the trims been moved at all other than throttle? I had the opposite issue today when I used yaw trim, I them could not disarm.

You might want to post this over in the multiwii section.

Hi thanks for your reply
no the light in gui stays red. so it does
not arm and the only trim I have moved
is the throttle .this was all working till update
the firmware by not knowing what I was
doing.

Dave, just to clarify , was it ever working with multiwii? Or only with MPirate??? I know you said you switched around a bit. You might want to reflag the board and start with a fresh install?

not to be too obvious, but you know the Tx is bound correct? If you were able to adjust the throttle watching it on the GUI, then it's most certainly bound. Just checking.

Which RX is it?

Hi merry Christmas to you
I can see the throttle adjustment in the
GUI when I move the trim on the TX
So it is boun to the RX ok
When I got the quad it had megapirateng 2.7 and working ok
How do you 're'fag the board and start
Fresh. The only strange thing is now
Is the only way I can bind the TX To the
RX is to disconnect the usb lead from
The computers. Then ones it binds
Re connect the usb lead. And connect
The GUI

If it came with mega pirate you must have put the multiwii program onto the board, no? I was just suggesting to upload it to the board again using a fresh arduino sketch. Maybe it got corrupted in some way on the first install?

Yes it came with megapirateng on it
But when I was in the mission planner
I up dated the firmware though mission
planner And then nothing work
So I tried to up date to megapirateng
V3.2r but you can't do anything it v3
With configuration.h so . I Upload it
But nothing would work so I loaded
Up multiwii 2.2 and got it to recognize
The TX but it won't amr

Try downloading a fresh version of 2.2 (or 2.3 if you're feeling up for it) and load it again. Maybe a fresh install might help. It certainly can't hurt.

Hi do you know how to reset the board
So I can do a fresh in stall and start with
A clean slate and see if I can get to
Flying this quad

It's probably the same way you loaded it before.

Download the program files from the google repository, make sure you have Arduino on your computer. Connect your board to computer. Open Arduino and choose that board to connect to. Then open the multiwii sketch in Arduino and hit the upload button. It only takes a short time to upload to the board. It overwrites anything that was on there.

You'll have to to go back and redo the Tx stick adjustments with your end points in the Tx. And make sure you hit the "write" button in GUI after making those adjustments.

That at should give you a fresh install from scratch. Hopefully that may help.

Good luck.

Which exact board do you have? Who made it? How many lights, and which ones/colors are lit?

are you absolutely sure your Tx trim controls are centered?

Hi the board is a cruis pro v1.1
Both red and green lights are on all the
Time now. They don't flash when trying
To arm the motors. And yes the trims
Are set correctly.

Did the lights blink when you were reflashing the software to the board? I think you may need to repost this over in the multiwii section. Or check Rcgroups.

Sorry, I'm stumped.

Hi yes the lights were flashing when
I flashed the board. The bit I don't
Understand is all the other controls
Work in the GUI. But it just won't
Arm the motors.
Anyway thank for taking the time
Trying to help me

The only thing I could think of trying is to trim the yaw all the way to the right to see if it then can reach the bottom right corner for arming.

Hi finely got it working
What I done was to totally wipe all the
Software connected with quad and
Started again but followed instruction
For a web site call RC Tutor which
Done it different. even the GP. Lights
Up now but you were right about the
Yaw trim. Could not arm it till I moved
The trim to the right a small amount
Again that's for your help

Dave
