We use these type of cases as standard along with pelicases in my line of work, they take some abuse and hold out somehow. certainly more than a match for international travel and developing world baggage handlers!

Yes, they cost alot. These cases were designed with the Professional in mind. They are more suited for the guys with $10k-20k into their copters. When Charging $3500-5000 a day for shooting. Spending $1000 to make sure your equipment arrives on location without a problem, starts to make a lot of sense. As BOWLEY Said, These are pretty standard on the professional level. They are built to last, and are made for repetitive traveling.
