Boom Lighting Config

I received a nice box of LED lights for my booms and wanted to ask what is the generally accepted colour placement. From what I have seen most have Red to the front and Blue around the remainder of the arms.

Having flown many fixed wing aircraft at night I can say its down to your own personal taste. I would stick with what's natural..e.g White on the front, red on the back & maybe green one side & orange the other.

The red led seems to be the brightest during the day there is. i had blue on the back bottom, red on the back top and white in front of both. wound up flipping the blue and read ones around after watching a mikrokopter with one little ball of red at my club one day. got 200 yards away and i could still see the red. Came home and swapped mine around

makes for fun bulb shots too
