This is realy horrible. I wish you all the best in getting the stuff back. Well it is not that big market and i am shure we will see one off the items on sale somewhere and report it to you or police. Hope the police will do their JOB and find out who was behind this.

I always hate reading things like that....someone is fighting hard to get a business going and make a living, and some retards just think they can break into your premesis and steal whatever they can use.....I had burglars 3 times in my company already. They made more damage than they actually stole, and the worst thing was not the loss of stolen goods but the knowledge that a stranger was uninvited in your rooms. The third time me and two guys from the night shift caught two of these bastards by luck, they were from Moldavia....they were just busy to crack the delivery gate. Once they were in, we switched on the light and closed the delivery door..and then they got inroduced to our "equpment"...three pieces of 40mm rubber hose. Once I was sure they understood my arguments, I took all of their belongings and dropped these two bleeding bastards off close to a hospital, went to our Police Station, told the story and gave the Cops everything I had from my new Moldavian friends. We never ever heard anything about these wankers again, but I guess if they ever see a piece of rubber hose, they will get the shivers....

Like everyone else I'm very sorry to hear about this. I hope this isn't too much of a setback for you and your company.

Normally the best healing is a little revenge. Fortunately most criminals are not real smart. They are going to want to try to turn your equipment into cash. Keep an eye out at Swap meets and garage sales as they are pretty hard to track. Also make sure you or the police informer any local pawn shops.

My guess would be one of the other number one ways other than eBay is craigslist. I would set up a search in the entire state for your equipment. Even if you don't catch the perpetrators themselves you might catch who they sell it to. I will try and set up one on my iPhone/iPad app also.

Best of luck and happy hunting, Tony

Those guys took too much merchandise to remain invisible. They'll turn up when they try to move some of it. I'll keep an eye out. Sorry Patrick,
Steve

We have this problem in Cyprus. It is usually Romanians who get their under age kids to do the break-in so that they can't be prosecuted while they wait outside in the get away vehicle. My local model shop owner caught a bunch of these kids on his security camera while they made faces at the camera as they stole his entire model car stock. The Police did nothing as they were under age and well known criminal families. They did not even recover the goods.

They were dealt with suddenly and horribly outside of the law in a traditional way, they just disappeared for some reason. May that continue until the Island is rid of this scum. Europe is going down the pan.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. You all have been a tremendous help. I feel really good with so many eyes and ears looking out. Some of you have given great advise, and I really appreciate it. I will keep you posted and let you know what happens. Or Ill just post pictures after I capture the perp, have him in duct tape, and a blow torch to his neck lol

On a serious note. All loss's have been personally been covered (still need to replace the Red Camera though) by myself. Business is back to normal as usual, and inventory is showing up daily. We have taken this as a big lesson, Installing cameras, better Alarm system, and getting insurance. We are moving forward rapidly, and will not let this slow us down one bit. Feel free to contact us at anytime.

Thank you again for all your support. You have all been a awesome.

Have a positive day,

Patrick

Pat, who ever the slimey little BA***RD was...he knew exactly what to go for. It's a specialist field & needs a specialist buyer, so that also tells me its someone who has seen your gear (been to your location) or someone from a forum!
Octos, in fact any decent lifting MR is an awful thing to carry!

I wish you the best & will keep an eye open around the usual places (might even try ebay brasil or something).

Regards
Ross

As a customer who was impacted in the loss we can chime in that Patrick and Aerial Media Pros have indeed made everything right and is indeed back to business as usual. Most companies would have thrown in the towel and disappeared, not so Patrick and AMP. THAT is a helluva stand up thing and thank you Pat, both professionally and personally!!

Hi Patrick, I'm a customer and your service has been superior. Thanks. I see your handwritten name on the return address of every package you've personally packed and taped and shipped to me. I intend future purchases from AMP.

But here's the thought that prompted my reply:

Is it at all possible that your stolen gear is already in China? And being studied and reverse engineered?

Industrial/commercial spying and espionage does exist.
