    GH4 vs BMPCC

Hi, I am at a crossroads. I have been a Panasonic man for a while and have just assumed I would be going for a GH4. But then there's the BMPCC. I love the look of Black Magic footage and it weighs a little less (350g ish) than the GH4. My work is both photography and filming in equal measure...

GH3 takes lower resolution stills using shutter release cable.

Hi all, I've been testing a GH3 on my Zen today. All working great except stills. When I take a still with the camera button I get a full resolution 19mb pic in raw. When I take an exposure with the shutter release cable I get a 14mb still. What am I doing wrong?

Just thought I'd share this info for UK fliers hoping to use the Phantom Vision for commercial use. The gist of it is you can't use 5.8GHz for operating in congested areas and you can only go 150m from the pilot: SUA - use of 5.8 GHz as a Control Frequency In light of the recent issues...

I would like a top of the range type charger if possible as it will no doubt be with me forever (well, as long as we still fly lipos on multis!). Name...

End of a two day shoot and had a motor failure.

Hi everybody, So I was in the last minute of a two day shoot and one of my motors failed on my S800 at about 50m. Well, it kind of failed. Stopped for two seconds, came on again, then off for two seconds, then on etc. I was quite surprised when a prop just stopped, especially since the S800...

    The Old Zenmuse GH2/Nex-5 thing...

Hi guys, I'm going to buy a Panasonic GH2 tomorrow as I plan on building an S800 with Zenmuse with a view to videography. I understand the GH2 is much more versatile and capable of upgrading (hack) to outperform the Nex-5 in video results. Am I right? Is the GH2 much better than a Sony Nex-5...
