HI I have a suspected broken esc on a phantom 2. Replacements are hard to find in South africa. Can I use a phantom 1 (Green or Red) Esc? I know it accepts a different input from the MC, is there a way to make it work? Thanks

But you are speeding up (and slowing down) both a CW and CCW rotating motor on each arm. There is no change in the Overall Resultant Moment about the z axis It cannot control yaw like that Unless I am missing something?

hah yeah I saw all those little antennae sticking out of the "GPS" BUT... Kopterworx have made a Coaxial Hex X... hmmm AutoQuad will also work? But they need to sort the failsafe to feel "safe" flying expensive gear

So how do they control yaw? Im assuming that 1 motor signal is split between a coaxial pair on one arm? But the torque from the top motor will cancel out the torque from the bottom motor.. So how is yaw controlled?

Hi Chris These copter are using 12 motors. Octo v is 8 motors im assuming? Can one run 12 motors from arducopter?

Was there not a recent change in regulations that limited shipping of Lipo's? I have read the other threads, According to them there have been no issues traveling with Lipo's. Im just trying to be thorough. Thanks

HI Borris I am busy putting together an x quad in the similar shape (asymmetrical) with the autoquad board.. I just cant get it working! It flips over forward on takeoff.. DO you think it has to do with the asymmetry? Di you mod your mix table? Thanks Graham

2 motors on roll will be tricky! A question.. Does it matter if the main alexmos board is not isolated from vibes? Are there any sensors on it? or only on the breakout board? Thanks

do AXI make low KV (400) motors for multicopter? The only one I see is the 41xx which weighs 320g. Overkill? The MT 3515's (188g) have almost double the IR of a similarly sized axi. How much will this harm efficiency?

the max is around 8.2 V. I use a 7.2V bec from a 3cell pack
