i tried doing the backwards fpv like he did on that tractor to a lobster boat the other day, it was weird not seeing where your going, and trusting your monitor it's not going in mine is usually a prop adapter and i can see it when you spin it by hand and watch it or i crack a race in a motor...

ppm isn't proprietary and every strand of wire is huge to a long range fpv guy. So much so a frame i use specificaly for this puts the rx wires into traces on the frame to eliminate it all. Makes them go further, lower, with less interference I'm thinking i'll revisit hoverfly later as a FC...

keep us updated........ the crashing is a biggie too, knocking motors outta whack so they don't rev/idle right anymore is easy to do. especialy with stock motors, built in prop adapters, can't even swap em out

yep, totaly safe without servos hooked to the receiver. start loading it up and it would want more power inputs. As is, esc's are all self powered and is no draw on the receiver. On the pictures of my discovery using ppm, i have a red and black wire, but there actualy power out to the OSD that...

that black and red wire shown comes from the naza and is outputting 5v to the receiver.... you just use one wire, like he showed
