i went out yesterday and was practicing chasing a newer smaller version of the model... the kits going to market soon. first time trying this with my hoverfly/xy8.... it was hard to stay on it, bigger mutlirotor, smaller super hero, and fast. theres a ground clip that shows what i was chasing in...
I fly 20-30 alot.........
usually when a rig is ill handling in wind, it's a problem with the craft being exposed when it has to give it all shes got. Crashes = unbalanced or bent motors/prop adapters is usually the culprit if not the props themselves or usually my case, broken races
the gain is how far the camera moves..... diff servos and gear ratios need different numbers..... put a camera on it, tilt and roll and adjust till it seems pretty stable
I've never seen one go. the guy here is just starting to make it go and leave our view like the last few weeks. he flies with goggles and is always hovering around us.
just has alot of hardware..... metal and stuff. I haven't even seen the new one, but same guy wants it. it should be fine...
that was at JG
I see the hoverthings fly around with our group. it's alright. kinda alot of parts, bolts everywhere. there is a new hoverthings that just came out,,,, flip or something
I fly TBS for that size/type mutlirotor..... hard to beat
I'd be shocked if the motors notice the difference between your frame plates and a discos weight wise. the extra battery would make the amp draw massive and make cg suck so bad it wouldn't be as fun to fly, at least for me.... if your just hovering, it'd be better to stick with the f450...

I tried, killed 2 esc's and never did get it to go. hobbyking sells an atmel plug that stradles the chip it's programming and looks like it's easy, but
i've never been able to make a graupner work better than how it came out of the package, but i've only messed with 8 and 9"........ like out of 20-30 props, balance em, screw em up, leave em alone, flew awesome. They'd show very slightly out of balance.... hub balance
what you just showed me with alis multi hovering and what most discos fly like is two totaly different anmals. Hovering versus actualy flying are two totaly different things. Being able to fly 60mph is a unique byproduct of the disco and to do so takes those motors around 50-60 amp draws. they...
a motor kv is how many rpm per volt it spins....... we have given prop sizes available in lefts and rights, depending on your load, the battery voltage and the kv there is a magic prop size to feed it. in most controllers that is half stick in manual mode....... from there you raise kv lower kv...

I have a forum and we went to video captcha at the bottom of the registration page, but they were still gettig in so we went to moderater approved before they can post. You search the email used and 99% of the time that's the tip off, then if we search the ip it almost always comes up as...
