that looks like the tapatalk files on the multirotorfrums server that are out of date, not the security certs try going to tapatalk.com and download the latest files for v-bulletin and upload them with an ftp

because of the way the ice esc's comunicate i had a hell of a time making them work right with a mutirotor. i'd personaly look at maytag or even the ipeaka, am running em both with zero problems

if you use a fpv video transmitter and a patch antenna you can track a rig with the receivers antenna. especialy when there on the ground the antenna strength increases alot when your close making a clear picture and it gets really directional. I've been down miles away and drove right up to it...

the motors gotta be smooth, props dead on for everything to work right. a vibe will drag a motor rpm down and naza will feel it and show as a drop, can range froma dip to an iminent encounter with the ground. when you fly it, feel around just after for heat, that'll be the culprit. Sometimes...

that vibration sound you hear is preventing this thing from going. the ipower motors aren't super powerful and any kinda imperfection like an out of balance prop or even too big of prop will do this. Try an 11" prop if you have some handy I'd back up a tad, take all the props off and fire up...

you either need to sell the 2.4 video gear and switch over to 5.8 or get ezuhf control for the dx8. it's a rock solid link that makes you confident your not gonna loose rc control and have a really solid video feed sticking with 2.4 as your video frequency

with the motors/props you have here you wanted 40's. you have 28% headroom hovering, pitch it up into forward flight and i bet you can take it into numbers you don't realize
