    Crash's FPV build - some (dis)assembly required.

    Crash's FPV build - some (dis)assembly required.

Crash are you doing the before and after measurements for comparisons or just assuming the new filter will give increased performance? BTW: If you need more I have extra filters in my Stihl case. :D

    Lighting up your Bird

I saw this video and thought is was a pretty good and inexpensive way to add some LED control especially to a Quad or Octo that doesn't have the built in transistor circuit. Check it out for yourself.

    XAircraft X650 build thread

Bart if you need a motor bell you may not be flying for a bit. Don't you just hate when that happens?

    XAircraft X650 build thread

Bart most local suppliers of bearings carry snap rings. I would advise taking one from another motor so they can measure it with calipers.

    box for your x650

Sorry, no can do. I wanted one of these cases in the worst way but I couldn't justify the big bucks they want for them. I just happened to do a search for 'military cases' on Craigslist and I found a PC business within 50 miles of me that had 4 at a ridicilous price if I bought all 4. I kept one...

    box for your x650

How about some military grade containers. You can drop these containers out of an airplane and they would come away undamaged.

Building a Mikrokopter a' la carte (from parts, no MK kit purchase)

Bart maybe the reasoning in keeping the quality low is to sell more of the same. :(

    You be the judge

Well Bart (clearing throat) on a 1 to 10 scale that sounds like a 8 for spectacular aerobatic maneuvers (tell the family it was not a crash, it was not a crash, it was not a crash) Hope we get to see the video if it is recoverable.

Suppliers List And The Products They Offer

Thought a suppliers list would come in handy for the products that we all use. Might make it easier for members to find the goods that they are seeking. Feel free to add to the list. KITS/ARF's, FLIGHT CONTROLS AND RELATED COMPONENTS www.quadrocopter.us USA, Mikrokopter, Droidworx, FPV...

What are your goals to improve your flying skills?

The biggest problem with flying a multi-rotor is that your stick movements need to be automatic and fluid. If you want to move left and you have to think which stick do I move you're going to get into trouble sooner than later. I recommend practicing on a sim or with a electric heli that can be...

Mikrokopter Which Graupner props for a stock Hexa

I have never flown using Graupner props but I'm considering trying them. I have been flying with 10 X 4.7 APC props. Which Graupner props do you guys recommend for a stock Hexa and do they require the reducing sleeve? My prop mounts have a 8mm stud. Last where are you purchasing them...
