Have to chime in and say that in my experience cloud cover does not have any noticeable effect. I can get full lock on the dullest of cloud covered days. The only time I have experienced gps problems turned out to correspond with Sun activity.

Hi flyingbiscuit, I'm using my WKM with a futaba R6208SB. The receiver gets it's power through the Sbus cable. There is no need to run any other power to it. Hope this helps, Eoin

Update on this, On Monday morning I received an email from DJI asking me to send photos. I sent them Yesterday and this morning I got a reply telling me that I have the most recent model. They didn't address the issue at all though it was very visible in the photos. I'm sure I'm not doing...

I use hot glue on the exposed solders as well. I also use 1N4007 diodes for each arm where the led lead is soldered to the PDB as polarity protection. This has the added benefit of dropping the voltage down .7v for each led strip. Eoin
