New iCharger106B+ terminates after 3:01 minutes no matter what mode

It's a Dell power supply, see pic below of specs. Just tried a number of things. First, I hooked my two Turnigy chargers to the power supply and set one to charge the 6S 8000mah and the other to charge a 4S 5800mah. Fired them both up and they work fine (ran them for 15 minutes), drawing about...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

I can't help you with contacting 3DR because I've never needed to. Hopefully Old Man will chime in on that one. I'm curious if you have tried to do a firmware update to the FC to see if that will fix it? Also, what are the options under the com port selection dropdown when the pixhawk is...

New iCharger106B+ terminates after 3:01 minutes no matter what mode

Hi Robin, Thanks for the response. I do typically use Balance mode except when I want to get to the field quickly! I just turned off capacity cutoff and it didn't make a difference. Here is a pic of the screen showing voltage/amperage just before it shuts off at 3:01 minutes. It gives no...

New iCharger106B+ terminates after 3:01 minutes no matter what mode

Thanks Bart. Tried your suggestion and still the same problem. I tried 6A,3A,1A,0.5A. I monitored the input amperage and voltage and both were stable during all attempts to get it past 3:01 minutes. I typically run two 6A chargers off this power supply with no problems. I guess I will try a...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

We might have an oops. I get greens and a blinking blue. I can't even find reference to a solid red light in a quick search. I think you will need to contact 3DR support. I'm sorry.

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

Hmm...headed home for lunch so I will do the same and see what light the Pixhawk has on. Report back in a bit.

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

Have you tried disconnecting everything from the Pixhawk (only the USB port will have something in it) and using only the USB cable from computer to Pixhawk to connect (and power pixhawk)? I interpret what Old Man said as doing that and you said you did it but I just want to make sure you did it...

HK Multistar high capacity, 10C batteries made for MR: Opinions from the experienced?

That is the sum of all six cells. Highest individual cell on any battery was 6. I'm not real familiar with what is good and bad. I just know it was requested here. I should mention I am having an issue with a new iCharger106B+ charger that is in another post. It won't charge for more ~3 minutes.

New iCharger106B+ terminates after 3:01 minutes no matter what mode

All, I have a brand new iCharger106B+ that terminates after 3:01 minutes and between ~300-400mah in. This is when trying to charge any Lipo battery. I bought this to charge my new multistar 6S 8000mah batteries. I have attached some pics of my settings. I have plenty of experience with chargers...

HK Multistar high capacity, 10C batteries made for MR: Opinions from the experienced?

Wanted to come back to this topic and say that the Multistar 4S 8A are now being used on my quad and they are still flying great. But they are under very little stress with this setup. I did however just do a flight with dual Multistar 6S 8A 10C on my new large hexacopter and they hardly...

Quadframe Foldable Pro SIXcopter - medium lift need

Build Update: Finally time to squeeze in a maiden flight before the cold front. It flew incredibly stable with stock PID's and it was right at middle throttle with mock weight for gimbal and camera. Hovered at 32A which is about 6A lower than what eCalc estimated, wonderful! Altitude hold and...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

I don't know that it should have hurt the FC. Since the power module only sends 5V to the FC I feel like something would have blown on the power module first before getting to the FC. I know I have read posts where others have plugged a 6s battery into the stock module and not had anything...

    Pixhawk gimbal connection

So you don't need the Pixhawk to do any sort of stabilization for you? If that's the case then you are fine as long as this is just a light weight gimbal and camera setup. I don't like putting much power load on the rx and I would recommend a bec if its a heavier setup.

    Pixhawk gimbal connection

Yes. I also have the ground for the servos tied into the Pixhawk rail grounds as well. So you will have signal and ground connected to the Pixhawk but no positive. I am not an electrical engineer and not sure that is necessary, as you might be able to just have the signal wire for the servo...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

Sorry to have frustrated you Chalagi, Its just really hard to understand why things aren't working for you. Especially when you say you followed the video from Dennis Baldwin and it did not work. Like I said, I just finished a brand new hexa build with a brand new Taranis and X8R plus Pixhawk...

    Pixhawk gimbal connection

If this is a servo-driven gimbal then you should power it separately and not through the rail on the Pixhawk. I still like to use servo-gimbals for survey work still photography and I make up a wiring harness with a common ground that powers the gimbal servos separately off a CC BEC and lets the...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

Sorry its not helping. Those are the basic steps I have followed for the past 5 multirotor's I've put together using Pixhawk and Taranis. Figured it all out from the wiki and videos like those. Good luck!

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

I just watched the video and that is how I have setup every single Pixhawk copter with a Taranis transmitter. I literally just finished a hexa build last weekend and these are the steps I followed. I did a few things in a different order but that should make no difference. If that methodology...

    Taranis binding

I found a great video series that may be helpful. I don't know if he is all the way to flight modes yet though. Take a look: Maybe get to this point where you can fly it and then worry about programming flight modes. Be sure to check out his videos prior and later on the QAV500. He's...

    Taranis binding

I've never had to adjust end points. I would love to find the time to do a step-by-step but just don't see it happening soon. No way I will get to it in the next week but can try after that. Have you tried using one of the .eepe files from that site I posted on the other thread?
