Looking for input on Agricultural build.

I think the Wiki is great, especially compared to MK. I frequent the APM forums and the DIYDrones blogs and forums. A little on RCG and some here (I am actually surprised how little here though). Plenty of info available. The RAVN does not look easy to me, and it looks like a 3DR Iris with...

What is the difference between airframes?

Take a look at http://www.shop.aglhobbiesllc.com/ You can't go wrong with a UAP2 frame as you can try so may different variants. I have been flying Rusty's frames since my start and they are what I still fly. I also like the frames at http://www.quadframe.us/ Similar, but I really like the...

    New 4k Lumix camera released

I mostly do mapping work and need to trigger the camera at preset waypoints or distances using DroidPlanner missions. I would also like it as a general use camera for pretty aerial pictures and video so no remote is really needed for that. Anyone have an answer to the original question? Thanks...

    New 4k Lumix camera released

I don't see a way to remote trigger this camera besides with a wifi enabled app or manual servo driven button pusher. Am I just overlooking it? Thanks, Shawn

SleepyC here. If I was working on a review for you or helping on R.C.G. I'm here.

If you have URL's for those reviews (check your browser history?) and any other material you would like back run them on archive.org. I resurrected an entire site once that had been deleted from a server using that. Including pictures.

Pixhawk the new flight controller from 3DR

I figured you probably had it figured out! On another note - I did also read yesterday that some folks are reporting improved "smoothness" with Pixhawk because of processing power, etc., etc. It was then mentioned by a developer (if I recall correctly) that we should expect to see much improved...

Pixhawk the new flight controller from 3DR

@mspencer1 - Just saw this exchange over on DIY and thought it might help if your not already aware: Q: I am new to APM, coming from OpenPilot where I am used to having Rate mode configured so that, with enough I term, the copter will hold its angle, with no stick input. So far, in my attempts...

Pixhawk the new flight controller from 3DR

Thanks! Hopefully they will get it there or HF will catch up with the pack and get a real GPS solution. I think for what I will be using it for (orthophotos) things should be fine.

Pixhawk the new flight controller from 3DR

Very interested to know your thoughts on flight characteristics compared to Hoverfly. I know you were one of the first with HF too and have a lot of experience. I am using APM in a fixed-wing I am setting up and have a Pixhawk on order for multirotor. Thanks, Shawn
