    MultiRotorForums.com DJI Wookong Contest giveaway!!

I don't know how this contest can possibly be judged. No entrant plus his or her friends is going to vote for anyone else as it reduces their own chances, especially if there are some strong favorites. Those people will be lucky to get any votes. In future I think you should have a panel of...

Plingboot Sorry if I sound a little over competitive as I think you once put it. But when the contest veers off to having someone tormenting his dog with a stuffed sheep and making no attempt to fly the course and then have people saying that they will actually vote for it then the whole thing...

Ok so here is my final cut entry, Thanks to Bart for organizing the contest and thanks to DJI for sponsoring the event with a super prize. I have tried to include some content to promote DJI as that is what sponsorship is all about at the end of the day. The flying part of the video shows...

Nettraptor Which rules were you reading, It might suit you to think that however. What it actually says is this. It's All about flying, The contest goal is to fly better than you have ever flown before. You will need 5 buckets and an object to dunk into the buckets. Also something close to ten...

Interesting, but in reality it has nothing at all to do with the contest rules and in no way completes the task! The rules say buckets and you have to get your object inside the bucket.

    prop choice… again

Pling Have you uploaded the latest 2.0.50 code. Alt hold has been a problem in the past but I think it is now fixed, Your problem will only get worse with larger props. Take a standard 14x4.7 and cut it down to 10.5 dia and rebalance it.

Well done for finishing the task. That string looks to be a little short of the 10 ft. Nearer to 3 ft. but at least you got there OK.

    CS6 latest gain settings video

As the gyro is 300 deg/sec the slew rate of the camera platform is somewhat of a mismatch. A 67 deg./sec gyro is what you need. If you want to get any advantage from a geared drive system.

@ borneoben The only sure part about your post is that if you don't enter you cant win. It's a bit like that old saying. How many people does it take to change a light bulb. answer =100 Thats one to do it and 99 to say I could have done that. JUST DO IT and stop posting all these lame...

DJI-M and 2 Axis Camera Mount Servos

Gary there is not much you can do with that lag accept run high speed servos and at 7.4 volts. Set you response volume with a small spirit level and it should give a good degree of stabilisation. It is heavily dialed in to the accelerometer but it needs a little more gyro to pick up that initial...

I was messing about today with some bucket ideas, and It is a lot easier with a 450 size machine than my big heavy lifters which move about more in the wind. The tweak of the week - angle plates under the motors. Did all five in 47 seconds.
