    DJI issue,s

Dave What I think you may be experiencing is the ESC is going into shut down mode before the DJI voltage regulator. If you disable the DJI then your esc's will start to give a warning that battery damage may occur if you keep going (depends on how you set em). However, thats ok for a single prop...

    DJI issue,s

FWIW. There are some other issues that can effect compatibility. Although some ESC's will appear to be functioning perfectly it is wise to check that they don't lose sync. when the throttle is advanced rapidly. Some 600 kv. motors will run fine on a servo tester with a slow throttle advance...

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Plays perfect on both my macs and PC's. I did see some frame jumps but that is probably just video compression for vimeo Merry Xmas Jeff D.

Accepted, No wind up was ever intended. I only do this to pass the time while video editing renders.

MultiWii / NAZE / SP Racing F3 How come I don't find anything about multiwiicopter on this fantastic forum?

Crash I have read nothing but good about this stuff. Be keen to hear your much valued opinion.

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

Nothing that personal my friend I was referring to the Jungle clip and the reason why it kept flying. Why so aggressive. Heres something to compare with. http://www.cam-and-carrier.com/fileadmin/user_upload/cam_and_carrier/flyer/quad-copter/Quad%20Copter%20Flyer%20rev1_02%20Black.pdf Note the...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

Well done Ken. That is convincing enough for me. You could have made it past 30 mins. with 4 cell batteries. As for the broken props. That should never happen if you buy the right ones. Without the additional weight of an I2c isolator your MK Okto will die if a motor or ESC stops working...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

Interesting that you should be telling me that. But I am not sure what the relevance is to this thread. After almost 13,000 hours flying full size aircraft I think I can say that I am aware of the risk scenario. I know of at least 20 other pilots who died over the last 30 years working at low...

You will. But not with an Okto or a Hexa.

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

Yep. wrong on that. If you take the weight of each motor plus the arm, the wiring, ESC and Prop. you can make a simple calculation based on Holgers formula found on the MK site and quad wins every time. Coax. is way down the pan. If you compare the lift curve of your favorite prop. you will see...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

The more motors you have the more failure points. I don't know of a single case where a motor failure occurred with 6 or 8 motors where it was recovered. Simulated yes but not in a real life situation. The less weight you carry the less risk of failures. However you should do your own thing and...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

It is possible for a conventional electric heli to lift a 5D for 40 Mins. I know someone on this list who is doing it. I have been using Cineflex for some years now and the camera is a two part dockable Sony. Only the lens and the image sensor are inside the camera mount. The body is inside the...

    Ok, here's the deal.I

Ken I think DJI will release a camera mount for the Flame wheel quite soon. That could change everything. Carbon is very unreliable from cheap sources. Sometimes it is wet lay-up and sometimes tubes are made by the pultrusion method which is also crap. Prepreg is the right stuff for complex...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

So my point may now start to make some sense, The goal should be ways to shed weight not add it. Anything made from Steel, Alum, Copper, Wet lay-up epoxy resin, etc.etc. is out. Every gram counts. While your at it. The most efficient config. is a quad, so goodbye to four extra motors and all...

    DJI with Kontronik Kobe

Pulso dont work properly with DJI. Don't know if they can be reflashed. They will run and take-off but response seems very slow.

    Ok, here's the deal.I

There are a lot of people out there who will give you advice but if I were you I would listen to the people who can demonstrate that they know what they are doing with actual proof. If you want the 'off the shelf' best combination. You need a Naza Controller in a 650 Xaircraft frame with a...

30 Min flight time whit fully packed octo

30 mins. Ha Ha. This I have to see. Spiraling temps and costs is all I see ending in total failure. It's called the law of diminishing returns. Gas heli is the only way. Unless you are going to change the laws of physics like so many others have tried to do.

    Flamewheel 450 first flight

Ken That is looking pretty good. The GoPro seams to handle the fast pans without too much blur. What frame rate did you use?

Hello from Glasgow- a million miles from the sun !!

Guys you should talk to Geoff at Quadcopters.co.uk he has the Naza in stock which is the best thing that has ever happened in multirotor. You just cant go wrong with it. You could spend ten times that and still not have something that works properly. They plan to release a camera mount to go...
