The KW8 motors have a good rep. It is likely that I'll go with those. As for the Scorpions, the prop adapter fits on the 5mm shaft and has a 6mm threaded shaft. The Scorpions can handle a bit more electricity. The symmetrical spacing of the motor mount will be an issue too with the Scorpions...

I'm looking at the Scorpion SII-3026-710 --- if the shaft was shorter it could do the trick. I could use them to lift an Epic with my Cinestar without a problem.
