KKMulticopter.kr - Minsoo Kim Build Thread

Just started mocking up my new quad (or hex :) or maybe Y6 ) using parts just shipped from Korea from www.kkmulticopter.kr The center plate design is nice, includes slots for velcro for the battery and 8 arm locations to enable you to build as a tri/y6 quad or hex config, power distribution...

    Muti rotor on film crew

As I said I sugested the flying wing as I thought it was best fit given the limited pilot time, and would do the same job as your ultralight aircraft would have provided :) Wing will easily handle 6oz , and capable of flying relatively slow (20-30 mph) The multicopter will be best fit as...

    Muti rotor on film crew

Just throwing something in the mix (sorry fellow multirotor deciples) Flying skill = Beginner/novice/not much Height = 300ft AGL I feel that your most sucessfull option may be an EPP flying wing , around 48-60" wingspan. Reasons Easy-er to learn to fly Easy-er to see and for orientation...

Multi rotor camera mounts, the good, the bad, and the ugly

sorry to hijack the thread, the prop under the arms makes sense, will give it a go to reduce vibration. I also guess efficiency may go up. I have an eagle tree logger, planed to compare SF vs DD props (watts required to hover) and will do the same test over vs under frame motors.

    Censorship, it just ain't right

there is no need for censorship, over at a site I moderate www.parkflyers.org.nz the ONLY moderating we have ever done is to remove spam posts. any decent group ends up being self censoring/regulationg . the parkflyers site runs a filter to block swear words (keeps the site PG13) . any site with...
