The Atomos Shogun seems to be the only way to go for 4K recording. Like I said since I have up to a 12lb weight limit it is not issue

I agree totally. I know my still shots for realtors will ramp down and that is fine. It is the video work that will be very evident between these smaller UAVs and our larger rigs. I just invested in a Movi M10

I am a little disappointed that the restrictions are so minor. There are a million Phantoms out there and every Tom, Dick & Harry is in the business now. I would have thought they would at least require a two man operation and even a third person as spotter.

I read that you use the Nikon D800 on MR. I want to also but need advice on triggering through the Spektrum DX8. Do I just splice into the trigger wire? Does it trigger the shutter as well as turning video on and off? Thanks John

I was going to go with the GH4 but am leaning toward the A7s. I will be using a Movi M10 so there is plenty of room for an external recorder. Here is some amazing stuff taken with the A7s but only in 1080:
