First of all a very warm welcome to you.... Thank you for taking the time and write down your opinion about this.....but you nailed it with "WHO DO I TRUST" Most of the time I have seen it happening like this: Some guy sees some great Aerial videos on youtube, run to the next shop or ask that...

    Calling upon the experts.

I am not familiar with a Bumblebee, but the principle of of initial set-up is almost always the same, regardless of the equipment use. Even in case you know already: First step is to create a new model in your transmitter (airplane, no mixers, all trim to 0...) Second step (at least I do it...

Request for "Newbie" section on this forum......

+++1 I guess Bart is still in bed, and it might take some time to get a response from him. Would als be a good idea to collect the "newbie threads" from the last couple of weeks and shift them to the new section (if a new section will be implemented)...don't know how much work is involved...

    Cinestar ???

What you describe is something I saw a lot with people beginning RC hobby, regardless if it was cars, helis, boats...and especially Multirotors. They are all amazed how little input it takes from the transmitter side to have a huge effect on the vehicle. I bought a ladybird for my 12 y. old, and...

Request for "Newbie" section on this forum......

Lately there is a lot of threads coming up starting like: Hey I am Jack from Nowhere, I am new to this whole UAV thing and want to start a business....what would you suggest to buy......? I think it would be great if Bart would implement a NEWBIE sektion (written in bold letters). It would be...

Zero UAV Beginner debating on what UAV to buy. Expert's suggestion?

The first one comes from China, the second one comes from South Africa...... Did you read this already: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?1617-Before-you-buy-please-read-this...

    Cinestar ???

If you can control your Ladybird, you can fly almost anything (Multirotors). Everything small is difficult to move around in the air, the reason is not so much the "sophisticated controller" but just the size and mass of the aircraft. Many years ago I tried to learn how to fly RC single rotor...

    DJI iOSD/Immersion RC wiring

At the moment you can't use the iOSD with NAZA M.....not a clever move from DJI. I bought the iOSD but never bothered to use it. Got myself the Eagle Tree OSD Pro and the Eagle Tree eLogger V4. A bit more efford in setting up, but fully customizeable and I can see the Amp draw, something I am...

    DJI iOSD/Immersion RC wiring

In the DJI iOSD manual on page 6 you got a nice wiring diagram. Look at the box: "OTHER WIRELESS VIDEO TRANSMITTER" DJI side Immersion side AV-Out (yellow) ---> Vid (yellow) Av-GND (brown) ---> GND (black) UART (2x orange) ---> not used...

Please explain how the NAZA gimbal works

On my way home it just hit me like....the only reason to use a 360° servo is to use it for the PAN (rotating around its vertical axis) , and the PAN is not controlled by the NAZA. ROLL and TILT are connected to the NAZA, and PAN is connected directly to the transmitter.....so if you use it like...

Please explain how the NAZA gimbal works

In Naza (or WooKong) Software you can adjust the servo travel. Manual says it can be set between +1000/-1000....don't know how much this is in degrees. But you can try to set it to +0/-0 and see what happens. Chris

Please explain how the NAZA gimbal works

You can actually "hack" any servo for 360° rotation.....just a question how good you are with tinkering on small things: http://www.pololu.com/blog/24/continuous-rotation-servos-and-multi-turn-servos http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-modify-a-servo-motor-for-continuous-rotatio/?ALLSTEPS...
