Finally for all unhappy S800 users - antivib upgrade

You are right, you don't NEED a tool, but it makes it a lot easier. To snap the rods over the balls is not a big deal to do by hand, but taking them off can be a pain, especially when they have a tight fit. Countless times I was swearing like a hooker in the Bronx when trying to snap ball rods...

DJI 450/550 Stock Motor bearings and retaining clips source??

Since there is a very strong magnet in the motor, it can be that you need some moderate force to take them apart. Apart from that, maybe this vids help you to get the bearings off the shaft: Chris

Finally for all unhappy S800 users - antivib upgrade

IF they are connected with ball links, it's pretty easy to assemble or dis-assemble them for transport. That snap-on and snap off will wear the ball links off eventually, but they are replaced for a couple of cents. To get it on and off you simply need this cheap tool: I never got any bad...

    4 Cell Versus 3 Cell

There is a relationship between the KV rating of your motor - KV tells you how fast the motor spins for every Volt you apply - the Cell count of your LiPo's and the blades you can use. The trick is to find the right combination...but as Iris sayed, there are hundreds of threads on this forum...

    Michael

Hi Michael Sorry to herar about your "accident"...even worse since you seem to be on a tight budget. To copy the settings from another aircraft/transmitter might not be the best of ideas.....too many things can go wrong. I can feel your frustration, but it's much better to learn and understand...

    Battery Voltage checker?

I guess it depends how you want to check your voltage....if you want to check your LiPo's overall Voltage on the ground, the best you can do is buy a Multimeter.... If you want to check the Voltage of each cell, you need a LiPo checker as already suggested If you want to check your voltage...

I would say it is just important that somebody new to this forum (and to Multirotors) can see at the first look : Ok, here is the "Beginners Zone" and that they start their journey from here. Single Op Radio Set up using 8FG tx and R6208SB rx, S800 and Zenmuse

The main reason I went with two receivers was that I wanted to be able to take the S800 apart for traveling without always fiddling with ay bunch of cables....if you have just one receiver, you can either mount it on the S800 or the Zen, but in both cases the fiddling stays the same. Apart from...
