Is that a tricopter? I was thinking if its a quad then 4 x cheap gyros & 4 servos + standard RC receiver might also work? You can use a PMIX on your transmitter to mix each servo to operate in time with its 180 degree partner but opposite as well, bit like ailerons on a plane wing. Ross

Ken, I use APC 12x6 props on my droidworx octo, they work very nicely so far....but only had 1 3 minute flight to date, due to the same weather as your having ;) Ross

So let me get this right, a quad with a total of 2.4Kg of lift. Looks like you will have to watch the weight of any flight controller very carefully!!! I would personally go for one of the well known brands, MK, Wookong? or the like, especially since in the very near future you will be upgrading...

Nice build Krleas. I have the same octo, but I dont use the carbon fibre cage over the top as I feel all that carbon right above the GPS is going to cause problems...dont forget that CF causes problems with RC receivers and will do so with sateliite signals! Have you flown her yet? She does fly...

The yellow wire on the VTX is video in, but Im not sure what colour wire is the right one from the go pro? You are plugging it into the bottom socket I hope? Ross

I think he has a local firm that makes PCB's for him, he designs them out & they do the the manual stuff, as you say the quality is very good. Ross
