    British MR fliers UNITE

Dave, as I said in a PM to you a week or so ago, you have done the test & in that case why dont YOU become cheif examiner, then others must come to you for the test...which obviously you charge for...say £100 each person. 15 people over the course of the year & you have broke even, you know...

Improving tilt resolution on camera gimbal

Hexacop, that's got to be some of the smoothest if not the smoothest video I've seen from a MR aircraft, that's totally impressed both myself & my Mrs. Nice filming. So care to run us through what mount it is & exactly what you have done to get this far, more for me to get things straight in my...

Dave, cold does funny things to electronic equipment & even props!!!!! Don't forget you are higher up and moving making the -30 probably nearer to -40!!! What are those things at 2:45? I had to drag my Mrs away from the screen ;) ;) ;) Now you know I'm going to ask what lens you have on that...

    HobbyKing Multi-Rotor Control Board V3.0 (Atmega328 PA)

I was only reading rcexplorer's tricopter builds last night, so its good to actually converse with someone who has one actually flying. The sad thing is I have just placed an order at HK for the FC board & a few other bits..I wasn't even thinking of building another MR aircraft, but now I am...

MK Power Boards in a HL Frame

I think they are turnigy plush 60A ESC's. The motors take a max of 41A each, so I always go 1/3rd over the motor current...for safety. Ross

    HobbyKing Multi-Rotor Control Board V3.0 (Atmega328 PA)

May I ask what motors/ESC's & props you are using, just trying to get an idea of what works well with a tri. Ross

MK Power Boards in a HL Frame

Lance, I use an I2C-PWM with 60A ESC's. MY ESC's can not be modded as others have done (crappy atmel chips). But I can tell you my SJ8 flies superbly as it is setup, response is very fast. I have a short video of its maiden flight on YT...

Bart....you are such a tease ;) ;) I am looking forward to seeing your gimbal...that almost sounds rude doesn't it ;) Have you got a price for your new one yet? I'm currently on a 4 year old+ gimbal & feel I could be flogging a dead horse if I continue to try & get it working smoothly! Regards...
