I use a gopro HD on my 2.3mtr fox glider, there is a downside...if more than 50% of the cameras view is sky, then it shuts down & makes the ground almost black in parts, so try & keep it to 1/3rd sky if possible.
The cure for the fogging case ;) is to drill a few holes in the top of it. It's the warm air from the camera condensing on the cold plastic case, but if there is airflow over the cam, then the warm air should disperse without fogging. Nice video by the way...but I'm wondering if superman is so...
Swisser I think you are missing what I'm asking for here. I'm NOT askign for ANY personal details of peoples crafts etc, all i want is to see a page layout, no information put in the spaces...does that make it clearer for you???
Thats exactly what I would like to see Plingboot, some examples...a page photocopy, with any personal info removed would be fine, but I do get the feeling of US against THEM at times on here!!!!
That's what I want to see, a fellow certified UAV pilots ops manual...but those screaming we need to do the BNUCs are not willing to show us potential certified UAV pilots how the ops manual should be laid out/look like!!!!! They best way stop complaining of uncertified pilots then, for they are...
I did see an appendix on CAP722, but I didnt really understand what they wanted? If I was to see a real example, then I'd be fine.
I have used GPS hold twice only, I always fly manual...because thats the fun for me ;)
Tried RTH once, the octo canked over at 50%+ & went heading for terra firma...
Bart, I noticed you mentioned savox servos...I have a new 1257tg here, have taken screws out & a few gear wheels..but how the hell does one get the board out? I removed the 2 tiny screws holding the motor in place, but the case is to small to slide over the PCB :(
How does one get the pot out of...
So what does the ground school consist of?
I dont have RTH setup on mine, never use it to be honest as I don't fly that far from me (100 mtrs max)....
ops manual & safety case....wish I could see someones version to get an idea, as this just makes my mind go blank.

Jes, I'm not saying it should be free, but a reasonable amount, affordable to the masses who wish to participate in this feild.
The CAA apparently does accept the B test (BMFA). You mentioned my experience & being allowed to turn up & pay....I'm all for that, but NOT the money that the BNUC...
