    What gets me is the following thoughts:- Panasonic produce some seriously good professional video cams that cost serious bucks! The guys that have spent serious bucks are NOT ahhpy that a hacked GH2 can produce better results in some cases & they would have given panasonic some greif over this...

    Paul, whilst watchign some chap on youtube today talking about adobe premiere output settings I noticed he selected 5MBPS for Vimeo & 12 MBPS for youtube...seems youtube takes better quality footage!!! Ross

    Fabien, nice video & I 3rd it....I also love the French countryside. I once drove from Calais to Cassis non stop (except for fuel), it's a very beautiful country & the Spanish French border has some wonderful locations to shoot...might make it a future mission for myself..as a holiday. Ross

    I'm well & trully against the wall now ;) Do I go for a GH2 & hack it (but then I'm using a stills camera for video) or go for a sony CX series cam? Hard choice, but as yo said MF, the panning on the GH2 is so smooth! Thanks for your input, it's appreciated...want to get it right now, the Mrs...

    Thanks for the replies gents, that answered me about the 900, yes it does seem to hold,then pan quick..then hold & so on & so on. soo the 900 hasnt changed from the 700 in that respect. Shame because as you said, hand held its one hell of a vid cam! Maybe its GH2 time or the hack for the 7D will...

    MF, have you tried the Panasonic X900M? It has FULL manual settings, built in 32GB memory & roll,pan & tilt stabilisation? Colours not quite as rich as the Sony, but sharper & easily worked on in premiere etc. Ross

    No worries mate, it's true....there are many out there working with AP/AV without any license. You have every right to state that...I never took it personally.....I've NEVER (yet) done any aerial work for money, but I live in hope ;) Ross

    Nah, I wouldnt bother for that..can do a wedding for £1300 ;) But of course if the place was photogenic, then I'd do it for FREE...as I do now ;) I only charge for my ground shots, the aerial is free & alows me to have fun whilst at work!
