Another example of sbus problems with this FC.

From my archive reading I formed my own opinion. A hex can sustain a single rotor failure just as a octo can. Only difference is you have less of a chance of one failing when you only have 6 motors and esc's compared to 8. So, for medium lift I will use a hex. I don't think frame selection...

I'm pretty sure the dealer doesn't know how to fix the problem. I've done every test he asked me to which came directly from XA support. I think he will verify its "f'ed" and I'll be ordering a A2 :-(. Saying that, yes, absolutely I will report back here.

I have been dealing with an awesome dealer. I don't think he is an advertiser here so I won't mention his name. He is gonna try and figure it out if not he will issue a credit and I will buy the A2. It will be a real disappointment for me cause I heard so many great things about SX.

I know I keep going back to the video I posted on the first page but that guy has a differebt radio and tried a couple differebt receivers. This is a super x problem not a rx tx issue.

I wasn't suggesting they did it on purpose. Possibly by accident thus the sbus issues stated by a few people online. 14sg with 7008.

I certainly won't settle for no sbus. That's part of the reason I used this FC. I am mounting my Rx out on an arm and I don't want 8 wires going out there. Also, without sbus I won't have enough channels. Maybe they shipped out a bunch of I/O version 1's labeled v2.

I'd be happy to unbox it and do a full video for you guys if you think it would help. I really wanted to use superx. Not because it was cheaper. I don't give a rats a$$ about the extra money for A2. I am building this aircraft right with the best of everything based on my reaearch.

Sorry. I should have updated that. It showed up on the pc. Then it didn't. Then it did. Also, When I searched the web I did find a couple cases of sbus connectivity issues.

I have it boxed up ready to ship back for inspection. Here is the weird thing. Connected to sbus it flashes red. With the osd hooked up and based on the monitor display it is in gps mode and I cannot switch between flight modes. When I hook up via servo cables it flashes green and display...

Guys I appreciate the help but I've read cover to cover on the manuals. I am miticulous with wiring and have checked multiple times. I'm pretty sure this flight control is DOA. Can't even open the software. It's going back. I set up everything including end points according to this:

What a cluster f@#%. Flashing red continues. Tried to go into the interface and take a look. Plugged in USB and drive pops up but when I clicked on the drive it says "superx is not responding". I think I see A2 in my future.

When the motors are not hooked up? I'm waiting on an order to install them but I did power up the FC and configured it on the PC. All I'm getting is a fast red.

I figured it out. One pigtail was soldered to ground and camera 2 from the factory. When used as the video out I couldn't get any video to show up. When used as video in and switched the camera to video 2 in the software it works. What a cluster %#@$
