I couldn't find avrotto motor specs but I used tmotor 3520-400. 1010 grams of thrust @ 50% with 15" props. That's only 6060 grams of thrust. No way they are gonna be big enough.

Got my lighting done. The hobby king strips are about 9mm wide. Perfect width for the bottom of my gryphon arms. I've covered them with clear heat shrink to protect them and keep them from ever pealing off. Red for the front. Blue for back.

Why don't you look thru the build threads. There are many there that will meet your requirements and the builders have already done the leg work on component selection and have successfully test flown etc.

The carbon fibre looks so awesome on that.

On the 7008 rx the sbus is actually channel 8 and is vertical. (Parallel to #1-7) Sbus 2 is below that and is the only horizontal port. My wiring was checked and rechecked. I'm pretty confident it's not something stupid like that. :-(

I've tried everything. Channel mode b and d on futaba. 12 and 14 channel mode and tried one last time tonite and couldn't open the software. Wtf. Sending back tomorrow.
