It looks awesome. The one thing I don't like is that the batteries are higher than the gps. I have no data to back up my feelings so maybe it will be just fine but I have concerns the gps could be greatly affected by this. Don't forget. The satellites are not directly overhead.

I installed the prop adapters. I replace the very short button head screws that came with them with a high grade socket head cap screw and torqued to 15in/lbs. I hate button heads and have no idea of the grade. Plus they are so short they only get 3mm of engagement. Loctite is a must here...

There will always be load against the threads. Sometimes less load, sometimes more but there is always load. It's not like the props will suddenly brake or change direction. I know what you are saying about inertia but the props are so light there is a very low rotational mass.

It looks like you have equal amount of rod out either side. I would think the gimbal would need to be further out to balance because it is probably much lighter than the battery, no?
