I Was bored last night. Set up a test bench with my kde 4215-465 and 55a esc's. Using 16" props the amp draw @ full throttle was close to what KDE has in their technical data. They say 39.7 amps. 45.7 amps peak was what I got. The motors were cool. 80F max. Using 18" props the results...

The problem is that if you have enough thrust @ say 20% and you go to start your motors it will fly away. Lol. You need to sit down with a pad and paper or a spreadsheet and figure out weights of everything and I mean everything. Then you can start your motor, prop and battery selection.

I think your motors are too big for your application. You have 55 pounds of thrust @ 50% throttle. Way too much.

It can take a max motor diameter of 50mm if you machine the hole bigger like I did for a larger collar.

It's about 15/32" from the plate to the top of the mount so 1/2" spacers are perfect.

Word on the street is that most vendors selling this type of lens all sell the same one. Chinese made cctv lens probably worth $10. I paid $150 for mine and a friend paid $300 for his from a big name place. They look the same to me and he has the same problems I do.

The maiden wasn't 100% perfect. The advantage of video editing. Lol. I'm gonna strap a load equivalent to the weight of camera and gimbal and adjust gains but I really don't know where to start. I'm probably gonna take it to a guy I know that has way more experience.

This is the part I don't get. I can assign gains to x3 and use a knob on my Futaba 14sg. Does it adjust the 6 gains at once?

Gryphon 1000mm hex wookong with v2 imu (a2 imu) 2 x 6s12000 Do gains look ok? I think it will be less jittery when i have the weight of the gimbal and camera bring the COG lower but I am open to suggestion on how to dial in gains. Oh, and do you like the Canadian Heli Pad? lol Thanks

Retracts done and mounted. :)
