Dave, They are very nice shots...........the NEX 5 is a great AP cam but the GoPro HD has a lot going for it but for commercial use the NEX 5 would be my choice. My GoPro HD is stock and the shots are raw from the cam, no PP. Here is about as bad as I get with the fisheye lense ...

Ken, What is strange, is that I moved the Rx to the other side and now it is closer to wiring and components and more cramped in its location. If anything I would expect issues from this positioning but to run two packs through without a problem was a welcome relief. Perhaps it is too...

Pretty sure my issues were as a result of 'brown outs' in fact there is video evidence from another Spektrum user simulating a 'brown out' which occured at 3.9 volts ? This is a bit disconcerting, I am going to fit one of these to see if it helps matters...

No shortage of power on that one................. I would check out your DX8 power, leads and connections. The fact that it was dead and came to life with some stick stirring suggests it may be a loose connection. If all appears OK with the battery, leads and connections then I would get it back...

Agreed, the curves really spoil the image but that is a feature of 'Fisheye' lenses. It is really evident how much distortion there is from the 'flagpoles'. A stock GoPro and a Sunex GoPro stacked atop each other would be good for a comparison......... is this 'Sunex' the best choice of...
