    'WHICH' AP Cameras

I have been through the whole gamut when it comes to shutter release in an Aerial Platforms. There are broadly two approaches.....with or without a downlink, some of the Kite AP guys insist on shooting blind, they feel it adds to the element of expectation. The downlink approach is indispensable...

OK !.............you have a very specific need. Does that involve interval shooting of high res. RAW or Jpeg. Will you use a downlink for framing or eyeball it?? Sid

When I stated 'a difference', I meant a difference in image quality. The FOV difference to me is only discernable in the Aerial shots from the extreme fisheye effect in 170* FOV. So, it will be interesting to see what effect the Sunex lense mod. has with its FOV?

So its the YT syndrome................well that's good, in that it is not attributed to camera or mount. I did the firmware upgrade and PAL gives me 50 FPS. I mostly use r5 1080p and noticed a difference between it and 720p while some claim there is no difference ? Sid

    'WHICH' AP Cameras

I'd be very surprised if they don't have interval shooting..........in the absence of a remote trigger I use a micro servo positioned on the camera for shutter release and use a spare rx channel, works flawlessly. A much more convenient feature is AV out !

Ken, Nice !.....So the Sunex lense mod addresses the 'fisheye effect'. I always felt the GoPro HD had exposure issues. Will be good to see some stable footage in good light to see what affect if any the Sunex lense has on exposure. In your pans I noticed some motion judder, what mode...

    Hi from Dublin, Ireland

Bart, Ken............thanks for your welcome and prompt replies. It's nice to be on a Forum where a novice to Multicopters feels at home. In the past I got the feeling that some unanswered questions was an indication of my intrusion. I want to put this RCAP hobby on a commercial footing and...
