1100mm hex build. Hexacrafter, T-Motor, A2. Oh my.

When you are new in an industry you bust your ass to prove yourself to a new client knowing there probably won't be a second chance if you screw up. There are too many other things to worry about and I didn't want the gimbal to be one of them.

The Alta looks awesome. The top mounting gimbal would be great for industrial inspection of things like bridges. Price is not unreasonable either. I gotta think if you put a million of these in the field, there will still be crashes. As for crushing the competition, I doubt it...

1100mm hex build. Hexacrafter, T-Motor, A2. Oh my.

I've researched gimbals since December. They were by far the hardest decision to make. I didn't want to blow the bank but at the same time I just wanted something that would perform without insane amounts of tweaking. So I picked up a Movi M5. This will lift 95% of the cameras I have to...

I am by no means an expert at UAV's but I am an expert at crashing. Lol When I first read this thread and looked at your log I thought "mechanical failure". I was thinking it was very similar to my crash which was deemed by me to be a motor problem. You have 12 x 4014's. They are good...

I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the data log. The whole thing happened real fast eh? When I had my crash dji had no interest in looking at the logs. They started off saying no one in customer service had the program to read them. I gave up after 5 or 6 back and forths with them.

I had a similar experience with a new heavy rig I built running wookong and lost control of everything except throttle. I had to force it into a roof to save potential damage to property or personal injury. This was on its 3rd flight and the payload was 10 pounds of steel rather than 10...

New(ish) Commercial Startup - Any Advice?

I have no compelling evidence but people say the x8 bucks wind better than a flat 8. I have also read a few forum posts where others swear the opposite. That the flat 8 had better flight characteristics. That being said, I am a huge fan of hexacrafter. They are professional grade in...

You can't beat the p3 for value. I'd take that over the m470 with a gopro and I'm wondering if the m670 is enough rig to safely carry a big dslr like the 5d. Even the dji s900.is not recommended to carry the 5d. 670 is a pretty small.wingspan for that camera.

Motor / ESC Screeching or high pitch whine

Andrew already told you that the flame 80 is the not correct esc for the u7. You cannot use the flame 80 with that motor.

Tarot X6 crash - lesson learned

Been there bro. $3000 + damage on my second flight a while back. Not for the same reasons as you but that's a moot point. Every screw on my machine gets loctite and is torqued with a torque screwdriver. There is too many things that can go wrong with these things as it is. Loosing fasteners...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Apparently it is on the P3. All kinds of lag problems being talked about.

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

So maybe lightbridge is better for a search and rescue rig and connex for your ap/av. If I knew i could get a solid and consistent 500 meters from connex it would be worth it

That is not a comparison video. That is a promotional video for connex.
