That's exactly what mine did when i first hooked up my esc's. i'd bet the other three don't have bec's?

I would go back and calibrate your throttle as you had them in the beginning and try it with both +and - 5volts to each of the six esc receiver wires. Try it with two or three to see if those work first before you do all six. just the signal pins to the FC.

Was the bec you tried form one of your esc's? if not and it's separate you will need the ground also.

From what i understand, it justs depend on the FC and Esc, is that there is no standard. Castle told me to leave them and i agreed. They told me the switching built in bec they use was more then adequate to use for the other 3.

Yep at that point i had had it with it , to lazy and tired to just remove the pins from the connector.

Jeff, I've only had my SuperX for a few months , so i can only tell you guys from my recent experience with having the one motor start problem. Soon as i got on the phone with castle they new exactly what the problem was and said super X was not the only flight controller with this problem, but...

That's exactly what i had to do and verified with castle that it was absolutely fine and if i wanted to i could send in my 3 esc's for exchange for one's with bec's to match my 4th.

The superx's bec does not supply 5 volts at the motor output pins, see for yourself, put a meter on it

All esc's that i no of, have to have 5 volts to run. If none of your esc's have a built in bec 's then you will need an external one.

One of my esc's powers the other 3.:) When i purchased mine, they weren't available as an option on all 4. I can get them either way, with or without bec now though.

Found this: There's no voltage+ on the motors output rail. only signal and ground.

Did you get a voltage reading off the motor outputs yet with the esc's plugged in?

    XAircraft SuperX

Moto, Check and make sure you have voltage on each + pin on the esc's to FC, with everything plugged in. The SuperX positive pins on the motor outputs do not supply voltage to run your esc's. Do all your esc's have built in bec's?:)

Your bashing a company without any proof! If i lost an aircraft to a Castle ESC, I would have made a claim, where's yours? I'm done discussing this with you.
