Hello Charl, The same props at top and bottom I am using because I think that this performs best. 740 KV is a bit high, so I am afraid, the maximal possible size will be 12" e.g Graupner 12x6. The flighttime with 4S16000mAh and 6kg will be around 14min. best regards Ferdinand

Hard to imagine, that the motors stopped since you could hold the leveled position, also the "impact" was somehow slowed down compared to a free fall. If (and only then) the motors stopped, I can only imagine, that the propellers started to rotate in the other direction and this was some sort...

@SMP Everything flown with stock 2,4 RC and 5,8 Video 100mW CL/SPW and 4Turn Helix (no Tracker). UHF and 1,3Ghz Burner draw too much, they bring down my overall efficiency :D best regards Ferdinand
