    You need the VPC module in addition to the flir tau. Then you can power the flir from an onboard source 5-6V and you get AV-out. (I am using a flir tau 640): best regards Ferdinand

    It is staight forward to balance the gimbal. Also the setup in the software was not too difficult, but I am using an Alexmos-board. Edit: To zoom I use a servo that presses the buttons. best regards Ferdinand

    Hello John, The reason for the motors pointing down is, that the needed box (for transport) can be smaller, since the GPS-mast will be removed (FPV-Antenna can be turned), and then everything (motor,props, landing-legs, gimbal...) is below. The flighttimes are mostly due to the batteries used...
