Mmmm.. nice!

I've been having great luck with the weather lately and getting some time in the goggles before work every morning. I'm trying to practice certain techniques now like higher altitude hover and tracking objects. Here are some videos I made while practicing this week. It feels great to watch...

One thing is certain, if it were a "palest legs" contest I would win for sure. I've spent most of my summer working on the copter in the basement and I now look like an albino!

Awesome. I have the feed loaded in my news app. I check that every morning while having my coffee and trying to wake up.

I fly a tight ship, EMO! ;-) Luckily I had JUST removed the MK landing gear and put some low profile one piece 500 heli landing skids on there. Those things are tuff as nails. It will bounce all day long.

You could use the 1450's, but you would have to cut the prop size down pretty low and get the weight right. I just had 1300's on my tricopter, but I ended up only getting about 3.5 minutes of flight time so I swapped them for the Flycam 925's. They work great and gave me double the flight time...

Got a little more tuning done and reached a new personal best. This is by far the highest I have ever flown. The entire flight was in the FPV goggles.

We have one at the local hackerspace here in Baltimore as well. Makerbot is the brand. http://www.makerbot.com/ I've been thinking of trying to use it to make an FPV camera mount.

Droider, I did watch the video and get all inspired to tune it. I tried a whole bunch of stuff, but in the end I came back to almost stock settings. They just seemed to work with only a little bit of tweaking. I've been out all morning and I can't get over how much better this is flying...

Got the tricopter tuned in much better now. CopterControl is working great. Also swapped out motors for Flycam 925's. Much smoother now. Shot a little later (darker) than I should have, but I was working on it all day. ;-)

A co-worker at the ad agency I work at sent me this photo today. It was sent to him by a friend that is also in the ad industry out in LA. There were supposed to be using it for some kind of car commercial I think. Pretty crazy set of batteries on there!

I'm interested in the 10 inch props. Anyone know what size the motor shaft hole is? I have 1/8th shafts on my motors, would these work? If so I'll take 4 sets.
