I like to be able to move around when I fly and have my cam op stay close but this would be a nightmare of wires dangling between the 2 radios. Too bad they have to make everything proprietary but I guess thats why all their products work so reliably.:0

I recall something in my 14sg manual saying it gives priority to other channels if it's needed and will slow down refresh rate of telemetry if needed. Sounds unlikely but that was the only thing that comes to mind. I think the 7008 is supposed to be the fastest but who knows.

Without getting to involved here are the reasons my setup didnt work in the past: 1. monitor didnt show static and went blue very easily. 2. not enough voltage/current to vtx/vrx. 3. antennas not pointed up and down. if using clovers supposedly the 3 lobe goes on the heli and 4 lobe on ground...

I'm curious to see how the Sony a7s competes as well. Though sony glass is atrocious. The theory about downsampling color space makes no sense. You downsample resolution, not gain color detail and less compression. But who knows, with all the fancy software out there maybe I just dont know...

To clarify I was only speculating on my comment about beacons. I was just saying something like that is coming as it has to with the amount of idiots, I mean phantoms, oops I mean uav's in the sky.
