Hammer a heli simulator till you have mastered flying from an external viewpoint and orientations are second nature, dont dive into FPV or intelligent orientation control etc till you have mastered basic RC flight. It takes a while but that varies depending on how much time you put into...

roughly 1100 euros for the basic craft, and about the same again for the air and ground peripherals. running close to Draganfly in price I think. I havn't seen that much footage either but I think most users are using them for the more industrial side of things as they dont have the payload...

Anyone use or used the Asctec Falcon 8? Its pricey, but I wonder how much I will spend on how many MR's, and how long it will take, to get close to matching the stated performance of one of these. It talks the talk, but does it walk the walk....anyone?

Some great flying and good video, but when you consider the hurdles a legal operator would have to overcome to get some shots like that..... I dont support pirate flying or flying that close to bystanders whatever their skill level. Its also the copy cat stuff that ensues that is worrying for us...

Have you used this Elisofix? If so how did it perform and why are you selling it. I notice it has 800Hz refresh rate, thats got to be a good thing everything I've seen up to now has been limited to 400Hz apart from the Asctec FC/GC. YT vids look good.

You have to calibrate and program them individually using ch 3 (throttle) of your Rx Rob. You don't strictly have to program them, but it is a good practise to have them set to Nimh rather than Lipo at least to ensure they don't cut out at low voltage.

Seems to working out OK for me, flight charactristics still good, AH working. I didn't do any further re-calibrations as all the boxes checked on the Setup Client Test page. All good so far.

Looks to be a slight bit of Jello coming through on that one, at higher altitude and brighter conditions it would be more apparent, I reckon the wire rope method is inherently better.
