The video is shot with pan servo input connected to the radio or not? You may very well have both off center: skyline servo center and radio trim center. In that case you may trim the radio and for a split second it will stay but the skyline will see this "trimming" like a command and act...

Ops...that's age: i forgot that of course you can only setup the pan servo center without pan input connected :tennis: (to the radio because the pan input is connected to the pc, that' what i meant, of course pan servo must be connected) So that's perfect, only thing left to do is to take out...

I'd do a manual pan servo center tuning without connecting the pan input. Only afterwards, if the gimbal stays still when hanged without any radio input applied, i'd switch the skyline off and connect the pan input to the rx and switch on the radio and the skyline, then trim the radio so that...

There is no way you can stop the pan movement once on the ground unless you find out how to disable the compensation so i'd concentrate on that. What happens if you lift the model whilst it is panning fast like at the end of your video? C

    Sony Nex-5n lens

Great deal! I do suggest the Sel 18-55. I have both and if i had to choose only one i'd no go for it with no doubt at all. Stabilized (i have 95% hit with no blur at 1/40th of a second) and gives more composition freedom. Thinking about it i am realizing that is really rare i fly the 16.

    Sony CX730/740/760 info centre

Yep!...I was commenting the rx100. My opinion is that you will find the 760 results fantastic. And will also be surprised by the amount of shaking abuse this camera can sustain without showing it on the video. I was sceptical when the 730 was introduced but then had the occasion to use it and...

    Sony CX730/740/760 info centre

Had a quick comparison with Nex5 with the imaging resource comparometer. Didn't really convinced me but, well, the nex is double the weight too. Video-wise...i'll wait for someone else flying experience.

    Battery for the AV130

I am sure the rc-drones version will be fine. Just in case you don't have problems with some dyi: http://www.ebay.it/itm/250954119681?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I bought 10 of these and so far the 6 i have put to work behaved well. Output tension can be set with a...

    Battery for the AV130

I use the Zippy compact, they are lighter and smaller than many alternatives. 1000 mah 2s if the videotx allows low voltage supply or 3s if the videotx needs the high voltage, i go straight to the videotx but always have a voltage regulator before rx, servos and skyline. As i use the xt60...

The reverse box only serves to reverse the compensation and it is normal that the autotune sets it correctly regardless of what you do. If you need to reverse the side the gimbal moves to (like you do) you must change the "limits". If they are 0 and 90 you must change them to 90 and 0 (don't...

Lucky man. Probably then i'm not very lucky when i choose what i buy from HK, or my DOA scrap box is a hungry entity with extraordinary capabilities:livid: I have my opinion about that and rather than say that they are "very good" i'd say they are "very keen" at copying. Which does not excludes...

I received a couple of them a week ago and have already modified them. First testing says they are superb quality, nothing to do with many others available in this price range. Let's hope i am not forced to change opinion with time. C

Check post 1628 from 1001copters, you can find it at page 163 of this thread. It will be fine afterwards :tennis: P.S.: i set it up and worked fine but then i disabled and am using the pan straight from the rx like RTR does. Until someone from PH realizes that disabling manual control and...

When you write "retuning" i assume you retuned it manually, right? Tuning a 360 equipped gimbal with the automatic procedure is really like winning the lottery: you need something very stiff to hold the gimbal but you can only support it from above the 360 which doesn't help to stay firm-still...

Servo output is connected anyway and that is enough to test and set the gains. When you unplug the pc, connect the pan input from the rx and switch the skyline off and On * all that is left is to set radio trim center and travel (which influences pan movement speed). *=this is important, if the...

Center and gains can be set up without any input connection, exactly like roll ald tilt. What else do you need to set up that needs the radio signal to be there?

Can you post a short video of that movement? My gimbal was buzzing on the table but once in flight i can't notice any sign of unwanted movement. (nor i hear the buzzing any longer...ok, just joking, sorry)

To make sure nothing moves when you don't want to i'd rather unconnect the servo positive. But take care: if you apply pan-tilt-roll controls whilst the servos are disabled the rsgs will still try to take the gimbal to the position the control should have brought her. Sort of "memory" of the...
