Especially video quality. Talking about specifications i made some comparison and noticed that the sensor of the 410 is a 1/3.91 whilst the 730 is a 1/2.88. Can't wait to see some sample videos, especially in low light.

In my house succes ratio is 1 to 1. I have two units, an old and a new one. Whilst the new one works fine with 1,5 (haven't had time [courage?) to try 1,6 yet] the old one had to be downgraded back to 1.25. Macsgraf: when tuning the servos manually remember to set gains to zero and disconnect...

E-One, compliments from me too. Apart from the quality of the rest the rotating gopro take is beautiful. One quick look at the gimbal attachment had me puzzled so allow me to ask: the attachment of the gimbal to the frame is by plain spacer columns, am i wrong? (no elastic suspension?) Thanks...

    Sony Nex 5n test flight.

I used two models of hdmi to av converters so far, the first is somehow bulky and although it works perfectly i have always found it difficult to place on the gimbal, the second one is smaller and more practical for our purposes, just google "hdmi2av" and you'll find it. It's the one that...

The skyline is capable of stunning results, i and my copilot are really impressed by the horizon steadyness of the 1.5 even when flying like a funflyer pilot. As Paul said, it is still beta and some things get solved. One big plus for me is that the skyline is really small and the placement is...

    Sony Nex 5n test flight.

I switched from nex 5 to 5n and right now am using both of them. From the video POV there are some differences, yes, the 5n looks better to me, even without using it at its highest resolution/fps. One strange thing happens with the 5n that never happened with the 5: the 5n drives its supply to...

Anyone having a pan-tilt-roll (3 axis) setup around here? Anyone having a pan-tilt-roll (3 axis) setup around here that tried 1.5?

Helifish, is that a full size heli? If it's not, considering the wind, it's a great result! (i saw the second video, the first is private and i can't access to it)

Ok, Brendon sent me the schematics of the loom (apparently nobody has them in this forum). Nick and rtr: are you using the firmware with 360 gimbals or just 2 axis setups?

Hello! Anyone having the latest schematics of the skyline loom? I need to check the connection of the pan servo signal to the skyline (now is on X1-17, is that correct?) Thanks in advance for any help Claudio

Achta, that is one of the most professional performances i have seen, congratulations. If i can ask: given the subject and distances i believe you was piloting with a camera (half fpv) and double video downlink (one for you and one for camera operator) am i right? Otherwise, if you was piloting...

Well, yes, it is supposed to turn compensation and control off and on (yes, ON too). I suggest you to play a bit with the aux channel throws from the radio.

This is one of the bugs already reported to PH and still unsolved. Limits work only as a limit to the travel you can do with the radio. Compensation can override them and do any damage that servo power, current and attitude allow.

    Sony NEX 5

I use two: a sony cx160 when top quality is not necessary or a sony cx730 when i need quality (paying it with lower flight time and higher bl temps, weight and value of the airborne equipment).

    Sony NEX 5

I prefer the 16 for videos as i had the distinctive impression that the stabilized 18-55, rather than helping in stabilizing the image, introduces some vibrations, both with enabled or disabled sss. And no, i thought about it but it's not the shorter focal that hides the effect. Wait for other...

    RSGS Skyline new firmware

Yes, that is correct. The same applies for the period you disable roll and tilt. If a trim is out or a stick has been moved when the control is re-enabled it goes funny...in one of the meanings of this word, if you're in front of a customer. Add to that the fact that setting the limits only...

    RSGS Skyline new firmware

Hello Cedric, there is a list of reported problems and bugs in the repository started by PH, part of the problems were supposed to have been solved when Brendon pubblished this message: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?3304-Photohigher-skyline-rsgs&p=68556&viewfull=1#post68556 but...

    RSGS Skyline new firmware

Cedric, I hoped that the new firmware that should address very well known mistakes (have a look at the other thread for their list, we can't call all of them "bugs") had been released. Unluckily this was not the case and, given the time gone by since these problems were acknowledged the feeling...
