    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Well, the F1 will not see the market. We tried, but simply couldn't get the business side to work in a satisfying way. We had another gimbal design done in parallel, for bigger cameras, and it is being tested now. The new gimbal is designed to carry everything from a BMPCC to a Blackmagic 4K...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Vibration when tilting has nothing to do with being "designed wrong". Any gimbal design has some compromises according to their specific use case. Standard pitch-roll-yaw gimbals are compromised in that when pitching down, the lens mass becomes perpendicular - rather than axial - to the roll...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

1333 can improve - but not altogether fix - buzzing when tilting. The source of that is mechanical, this is something that's important to stress. Perhaps with other controllers you don't get to a tuning that's aggressive enough to see buzzing - that just means it doesn't stabilize right in the...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

If someone ever wanted a firmware update, here it is: http://forums.phobotic.com/forum/mai...3-is-available (Always) treat new releases as beta (meaning no upgrading the day before a paid shoot, etc).

I understood your problem - connect to ports 1 to 4 on the CP. 4 to 8 are reserved for output use in the future.

SBUS is just the default channel assignment, if it's not finding your R/C then it would still say "SBUS". You need to go through the Detect / Calibrate function to locate the actual channel in your setup, of course.

The new F1 Gimbal (Air Studio/Phobotic) for GH4 sized cameras

Well the final details aren't set yet. We're still evaluating pricing, distribution, warranty and so on - but we'd definitely like to do something nice for our existing customers. We'll see.

The new F1 Gimbal (Air Studio/Phobotic) for GH4 sized cameras

Possibly - those customers already owning CPs and intending to use the F1 with that, could buy the F1 without electronics and with a special mounting bracket for mounting their CP externally (the F1 has a new board that's housed internally) [Edited to say it's possible, not certain, as we're...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

I wouldn't worry too much about buzzing if that only occurs on frame rotation. You might not even have it in the air.

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

No, it was sorted in version 1330 and forward :) The only version requiring the manual calibration is 1328.

The new F1 Gimbal (Air Studio/Phobotic) for GH4 sized cameras

We are constantly testing and iterating on the design according to external feedback. We shipped it to California for testers outside Phobotic to get some real world mileage. The footage is all that we hoped for, and we are now improving some convenience features. Still on track for a release...

I forwarded your question to one of our guys, I'll see what's up with that.

When you send a support request, we're seeing all the parameters of the gimbal this way and can solve your problem quickly. When doing that, put in the comment box ALL the problems you've been having.

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Cameraj, the issues are unrelated to each other. If you have problems when pitching down, it's not the mount that at fault but the physics of the gimbal and how pitching affects the roll (and to a lesser degree, yaw) axes. This requires a slight detune of the roll axis if it happens. Nothing to...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

If you take it down too much, then yes, but a change of 15%-25% shouldn't be very noticeable.
