Interesting... I was thinking of a Typhoon H myself. In honesty I have not been flying too much these days as I have been spending a lot of time studying for a certification exam. I have been in a mix of building a racer & checking out the H when it is released.
We will have to see how much I really want to put one together. I have not really been flying too much these days. Been studying for another certification exam which is taking a lot of my time.
So from the last fun fly day I went to I thought the 250 racers were pretty slick. I think that I want to get one together and all.
I see a few threads here about 250 projects folks have done and I just wanted to see what things people have had luck with. Out on getfpv.com I noticed they have...
Today the DUG hosted a fun fly event in Gilbert. I went to check it out, took my 450 up once.
Met a few folks there, in all it was a fun time several guys had some smaller racers set up for FPV flying. One guy was really good with the racer, flipped it several times, no crashes. in all it...
I ran across this article today while looking at some other stuff:
http://woub.org/2016/01/17/lawsuit-seeks-to-resolve-drone-privacy-debate/
The article is not really the part I found interesting, it is the comments below the article. These kind of discussions always bug me a bit. I think...
I read there was the FAA lock out. I expect to see that more and more on consumer product (just my feeling, no real data behind it).
I still think it looks neat, waiting to see if it is neat enough to be worth the money in my mind. Almost 2k is kind of a pricey toy.
I have had an F550 air frame here at the house for quite a while, but so far I have not had the motivation to get that project off the ground... I will wait a bit and see what the story is with the Typhoon H. I don't really have a consumer type drone right now, just my F450 (unless you...
Saw a bit about this on the web. I was thinking of getting the 4k Typhoon's but may wait for this guy. There is mention of the collision avoidance system for the Typhoon H, which is the feature I think would be really slick.

I don't have any background in law enforcement. I have been interested in multi-rotors for law enforcement and search and rescue. I know I have had the taser idea myself, but if it is a good or a bad idea I can't say, someone who works in the field would better know. I don't disagree with...
I will see what I can do to help grow the community.
If anyone out there is in the Phoenix metro area, where do you like to go fly now? I live in the city of Mesa, there are some spots to fly but given how many people are in the city it is a little hard to get away from it all.
I know there...
Thanks Bart!
I hope this will be the start of a strong Arizona community! I am local to the Phoenix metro area and would love to meet up with some other people who are also in to multi-rotors.
Thanks again Bart!
All...
I am happy to see a local action area for the Phoenix area! I am in the Phoenix metro area myself and would love to connect with some local folks to go and fly!
I hope we can build a strong community here!
