This is a topic I've followed for years and it's really a crazy no win for anyone....other than the government. Unfortunately I can't see anyway that the US will allow you folks to film or shoot for profit. There's too much for them to gain (money and fees for certification and the ability to...
Those parts are nice and thick, you won't have to worry about any flexing, that's for sure. If you're flying the xaircraft hexa, it's always nice to grab 2 of these http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-2038/Xaircraft-X650-v4-v8/Detail and one of these...
If you read more about it, it wouldn't work.
Liquipel™ is a Nano-Coating that is applied though a propriety process. This process starts by placing devices into the chamber of the Liquipel™ Machine. The Machine then removes all the air to create a vacuum, a special formula is then introduced...
Yes, the add on increases the width and the Nex fits fine....just that the servos don't seem to like the extra weight. I really like the xaircraft hexa frame with this gimbal if you were to use only a gopro or small point and shoot. Well made and the ease to put on and take off with the rails...
If you buy this http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-2229/Xaircraft-CM_EXT-biaxial-PTZ/Detail you'll be able to fit the Nex5 but you won't be able to fit a downlink. I found the weight of the Nex is a little taxing on the servos though.
I'm not a huge fan of the F550 frames, so I use the...
At one point Sydney had stated that it's for all owners, but they are doing S800 first. I'd definitely call DJI if you have an old unit and are considering a S800 in the future.
Just to add to Snure's post, make sure when you're flipping the switch to record the POI that you end in the OFF position. Alot of folks misread the instructions and assume when you finish recording the POI the switch should be on...that is incorrect...must be OFF. Move your distance away then...
Hi Jonathan,
After you turn on your tx and plug in your battery (outside with no obstructions), how long are you waiting? The reason I ask is if it has never acquired satellites before, it could take a very long time. I have heard of folks plugging in and waiting over half an hour till the reds...
Graupner 10" on 4s with the 2217's run very cool for me and the ESC's are cool as well (stock). This combination only works well with some weight on the hexa.
Great job splitting them. Any chance we could add
Gimbals with DJI products
FPV with DJI products
The only reason I ask is to expand the knowledge in those two fields without getting lost in the posts. Either way, good job with the split Bart
Wish I could help more but I don't think there's alot anyone can do till DJI writes some better coding for gimbal. Did you change to 400 mhz? Out of suggestions bud :upset:
