Working voltage for motors

Hi,

Just wondering what is the maximum working voltage for motors, like DJI 2212, TMotor MT2814-10? I am using 4S battery, which could provide the maximum voltage around 16.5V. Do you think the motors can survive under 24V?

Thx,
James

they all vary but the two your talking about above are 4s i'm pretty sure.......... some will do 6s but there is lines where props are available in left and right hand, kv of motors and cell counts match up, then to be MR orientated so the prop adapters stay on, etc.

No i do not think those brands will at that kv with the props you have to choose from. The general deal breaker is max watts,,,,,,, volts x amps,,,,,, with that motor you got to run at 6s would need like a 6" prop, and theres just not one made to spin that fast in left and right hand. Drop the kv down to 400-500kv and you'd be back in the game with the same size props spinning a similar speed as you did with 4s and 900kv,,,,,, just less amps
