Really gorgeous.
One of the coolest places I have ever been (mid 90's). Actually snapped a few shots of a couple stealth fighters flying overhead - at a time when I had barely heard the term. And a shot of a lone ant scurrying across the sand, which seemed like the only other life for 1000 miles.
