TX recommendations for Wookong octo S-Bus?

Hi i've built an Xaircraft X650 V8 with Wookong m Fc and an HF-XA camera gimbal. I have a Futaba 6Ex at the moment but finding it really hard to program and doesn't have enough channels so i need to upgrade.

I am thinking of getting an S-bus TX Rx so i can free up the 2 wookong channels for the camera Gimbal.

What Tx would you recommend? i'm looking at the Futaba T8J but not sure if it has a 3 position switch for the flight mode?

thanks for your help.

Futaba T8FG Super has several three-position switches - you're spoiled for choice! And mine came bundled with a R6208 SBus Rx. The programming "wheel" is possibly not the most responsive device made, but programming for a multi is so simple anyway ;)

Hi Thanks for you response, Yep the The Futaba T8FG looks great but it's a bit out of my price range was hoping for something sub £300 with a bundled S-Bus RX.

The Futaba T8J comes with a R2008SB Rx for £219 any idea if it'll fufill my needs?

For gimbal control (not to mention other things) I'd say the T8FG is well worth the extra £150. Quick look at the manual says the T8J only has one 3-position switch and no pot-type aux channels - that's going to make fine control of gimbal pitch very hard. The T8FG has 4 additional pot-type channels - two on rotary knobs on the front and two on finger-sliders on the back. Given that a good radio is a lifetime investment, I'd find the extra £150 ;)

In fact, I was looking at FastLad prices - just checked ebay.co.uk - see this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Futaba-Tr...ultDomain_3&hash=item4cfe944df2#ht_669wt_1397

not true, has 2x 3 way switches and one rotary knob but feels like a cheap radio, super thin and light, no rechargeable battery in the box. Coming off a jr11x, feels like a toy and the resolution isn't as high
